About SNDTTA

The Sydney Northern District Table Tennis Association (SNDTTA, ABN 36 241 645 300 ), formerly called The Manly Warringah District Table Tennis Association (MWDTTA), was formed at a meeting held at South Curl Curl Surf Lifesaving Club on 18 April 1950.

The aim of the Association is to promote and support table tennis throughout its area by organising team competitions and an annual district championship and by encouraging people, including children, to participate in one of the world's greatest sports. While the activities of the Association in the early days were concentrated mainly in the beachside suburbs of northern Sydney, New South Wales, Australia, its club catchment area has gradually expanded to include many of the inland suburbs of northern Sydney such as Willoughby, Thornleigh, Hornsby, Forestville, Annangrove, Carlingford, Rydalmere, Rhodes and now the Hills District.

The Association became affiliated with Table Tennis New South Wales in the mid-1960s.

At present, there are about 18 affiliated clubs with more than 2,000 registered members and over 350 competition players, including junior teams, participating in two major team competitions in Autumn and Spring, and the district championships in August. The competitions are organised into six divisions based on player skill levels.

The Association is one of the largest in New South Wales
